Overall, the Iron Man add-on is very solid. The new, improved graphics help as well, and the realism brought about by the new addons really makes it feel like you’re part of the World of World War Hulk. You no longer have to find a way around an obstacle in order to beat the objective. The difficulty of the game has also been improved, making it more challenging than ever. This adds a lot to the experience, and the fact that the entire mission takes place in the real world helps it to be more believable. For example, when you visit the Chinese compound, you are allowed to see the real life scene as opposed to just the green screen. There are also many other assets as well. For example, there are real police officers and terrorists in the game, which gives a nice feeling for the cop and the terrorist. There are so many different things to do in the game, the characters feel more real.
Even if you didn’t like the previous versions, you’ll probably love the new maps. The maps from the recent editions really take the scenery to a whole new level. There were a few things here and there, but nothing really took the place of having to go out and do it yourself.
The problem with the early editions of the Iron Man games was the environments were quite uninteresting. You start at the bottom and work your way up. With the new Iron Man Maps you can travel around in the Marvel World. It has the most realistic terrain out there as well as the most varied amounts of assets in the game. There are so many great things about this mod that I really don’t want to single out any one thing for it. My latest Iron Man add on modding experience has lead me to Discontinued Lucraft Iron Man mod, which I have to say is by far the best Iron Man mod out there.
